01 - Let The Record Spin
Growing up, music was always in the background, like the heartbeat of our home. My childhood was filled with melodies from every corner - whether it was a song on the radio or my mom singing along to her favorite tunes. It was there through every moment, big or small, & over time, it became my first real love. Music has always been my constant companion, my escape, & the one thing that has offered me a sense of connection that nothing else couldmat.
Attending concerts is an experience I deeply value. The dynamic energy of live performances offers a unique opportunity to connect with music in a way that recordings simply can’t replicate. I appreciate the atmosphere of anticipation & excitement that fills the venue as soon as the band or artist takes the stage. It’s an immersive experience that feels different every time, whether it’s the rawness or the authenticity of seeing music performed in real time, with all the imperfections & spontaneity that makes each show unique. Whether it’s a big stadium show or an intimate venue, it’s a feeling of pure joy & an experience that keeps me coming back every time.
02 - Crowd Surfer
Toward the end of my academic career, I worked extensively in a darkroom, which sparked a deep passion for film photography. The process of developing and printing images allowed me to fully appreciate the distinct aesthetic of film - its rich textures, subtle tones, and organic qualities. This hands-on experience refined both my technical skills & understanding of the creative process, fostering a profound respect for the craftsmanship involved in traditional photography. The slow, deliberate nature of working with film further strengthened my connection to the medium and its unique artistic potential.
03 - Timeless Aesthetic
My passion for travel & exploration was truly ignited during a coast-to-coast road trip with my best friend after graduating college. That experience, which involved discovering new states & cities, allowed me to appreciate the diversity and unique characteristics of each location. The journey fostered a deep sense of curiosity & desire to explore both well-known destinations & hidden gems across the country. I just wished I owned a camera at that time, as it’s been one of deepest regret during the cross-country roadtrip. Since then, I’ve made it a point to travel with my camera whenever possible, seeking out new environments, cultures, & experiences that broaden my perspective & enrich my understanding of the world.
